My name is Petra Cooper, I am a writer, a mom first, and a student. I write poetry spoken word and fiction.

 I have self-published four books Black Rose, UnConditional Surrender, Sincerely addicted, and Weak For You: Himeros. All my first four works will have a part 2, and 3 so please look out for those.

I am currently studying psychology but I’m hoping to expand my studies.

I am a mother of four beautiful children three boys and 1 lucky girl.

Writing has always been a hobby of mine since I was seven and wrote my own little story about a traumatic experience. However, it was not always something I thought I could make a living with. I realized I had something valuable to share with the world, a voice that matters with so much to say, and so I turned to writing full time.

Since turning one of my passions into a profession, I have written prolifically and am constantly exploring new themes, genres and ideas. It’s incredibly hard work, but I'm never happier than when I sit down at my desk letting the words swimming wildly in my head spill out of me. Putting ink to paper or word to type it just makes the world feel right.
